What's happening in Carolina NSA this week?

The World Series are over and now it's time for the FUN season. We are trying a new format for the Fall. This is an attempt to improve the Slow-Pitch program and we want you, the players, to give us your full input. Check out a poll posted at the top of the Men's Message Board where you can vote on the new classifications.

Here are the new Divisions:
- Elite Division - HR Rule 8HR and 1-up - Currently in place with NSA. No changes. Target Audience: B teams and above
- Division I - HR Rule 3HR and 1-up (If a team does not have a HR to hit, it will just be an out) - New division.
Target Audience: Class C teams and strong Class D teams. Teams may hit the NSA 44/525 or 44/400 softball in the Fall
- Division II - HR Rule 1HR and 1-up (If a team does not have a HR to hit, it will end that inning) - New division.
Target Audience: Previous Class D teams and strong Class E teams. Teams may hit the NSA 44/525 or 44/400 softball in the Fall
- Division III - HR Rule: No HR's. Any HR hit over the fence will end that inning. Also, teams in this division must hit the 44/400 NSA approved softball in all Fall 2008 play. Target audience: New beginner teams and class E teams.

Carolina NSA announces a new full time State Director for South Carolina. Scott "Dools" Dooley joins the NSA staff and brings with him a wealth of softball knowledge. We are excited to have Dools join us and feel he will lead us back to the top association in South Carolina. What the teams need to do:

	Get your team registered at PlayNSA.com (click the banner link below)
	Send in your team sanction fee or pay it on-line so your team can be approved.
	Enter your team roster on-line at PlayNSA.com Please review the link on the left side of this page regarding your team roster. There are a few tips on that page that may help you.
	Submit your roster and contact us with tournaments you would like to enter.
	All teams will need to bring a printed and signed copy of their roster to each tournament.
	For 2008, all teams MUST be registered on-line prior to the event.
	Check out the "Who's Playing" Page to see what teams have signed up for tournaments
