Listed below is information about the 2010 Carolina NSA Director's Cup Series.  Any team from North Carolina is invited to participate.  We will have the points updated on this page.  If you have any questions, please contact the program director listed below.

NSA DIRECTOR'S CUP

The Carolina NSA Director's Cup will use the points from the NSA National Points System.  The Director's Cup will apply to North Carolina NSA Sanctioned Men's Class C, D, and E teams.  There will be a total of 8 qualifying tournaments plus the NSA Super State and NSA Eastern World Series that will factor in to the point system.  Results from those tournaments will be posted here below.  For each additional qualifying tournament a team plays, they will receive 5 bonus points per event.   Bonus points will not be given out at the State and World Series, only for qualifying tournaments.  In the event the Hi-Lo format is used in any Director's Cup Event, a team that locks up in a higher class from their normal class will receive full first place points for that event plus a reverse point scale will be added based on the number of teams in the tournament.  This is a team incentive to play hard and not sandbag.  Teams must play in at least (2) two qualifiers prior to the State and World Series to be eligible for the Grand Prize.

The winning team in each class will receive 12 Embroidered Coats, 12 pair of Elite Shoes
and be part of the Director's Cup perpetual trophy.  They will receive their awards at the 2011 NSA Tri-State Hall of Fame Banquet in Myrtle Beach, SC. where you will receive a comp room for one night and 4 tickets to the banquet.
We have added $25 per team in travel money and a running total will be kept here.  Travel money is added at each qualifier event.  Travel money can not be added for the Super NIT's, Super States and Eastern World Series as those entry fees are set by the NSA National Office.
Teams must go to the Eastern World Series in Lexington, SC to collect Travel Money.
Travel money will be distributed 50% to 1st place, 30% to 2nd place and 20% to third place.
Travel money can not be passed down in the event a team does not go to the Eastern World.
More awards may be added later.
 

NSA NATIONAL POINT SYSTEM WILL APPLY
Play in one qualifier, get the points based on NSA National Points System
Play in two qualifiers, get the points based on the NSA National Points System plus 5 bonus points
Play in three qualifiers, get the points based on the NSA National Points System plus 10 more bonus points
Play in four qualifiers, get the points based on the NSA National Points System plus 15 more bonus points
Play in five qualifiers, get the points based on the NSA National Points System plus 20 more bonus points.
Play in six qualifiers, get the points based on the NSA National Points System plus 25 more bonus points.
Play in seven qualifiers, get the points based on the NSA National Points System plus 25 more bonus points.
Play in eight qualifiers, get the points based on the NSA National Points System plus 25 more bonus points.
Play in 8 events, which includes six qualifiers and the Super State and
Eastern World Series and get 50 BONUS POINTS after the World Series

Get 75 Director's Cup Points just for participating in this event.  All teams from NC that play in
this tournament will receive 75 Director's Cup points.  This will NOT count as one of the qualifiers,
nor towards bonus points, but rather an incentive to play in this event.  No travel money
will be added to the pot from this event.  It is an opportunity to gain 75 "wildcard" points and play NSA!
